Administration
Users & Roles
Add your team, give each person the right level of access, and keep your organization secure as it grows.
Inviting users
- 1
Open Users & Roles
Go to Settings → Users & Roles. You’ll see everyone in your organization and their current role. - 2
Send an invite
Click Invite, enter the person’s work email, and choose a role. They receive an email to set up their account. - 3
They join securely
The new user sets their own password (and can enable multi-factor authentication) before accessing the workspace.
Choosing a role
Every user has a role that sets their baseline permissions:
- Admin — manages settings, users, billing, and governance.
- Manager — approves actions and manages work within their area.
- Member — performs day-to-day work without approval rights.
Roles work together with attribute rules — read Roles & Permissions to understand how the two combine.
Principle of least privilege
Give each person the lowest role that still lets them do their job. You can always raise someone's access later — and every change is recorded.
Changing or removing access
- Change a role at any time from the Users list; it takes effect immediately.
- Deactivate a user when someone leaves — their access is revoked but their history stays in the audit trail.
Accountability
Inviting, changing, and removing users are all sensitive actions, so they're recorded in the audit trail and may require approval depending on your settings.
